It's been since Mckinley was born that I have posted anything. I guess with the ease of Facebook and Instagram, I have used them more often. So what has been happening? Well Life has been happening. The school year is nearing an end. We have 8 more weeks left until summer. But who's counting? I am!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Some small updates- </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Drill Team- Best season ever!! We were in the top 5 at state this year in dance (5th) and kick (4th) it was amazing! I was and am so proud of those girls they deserved every bit of it!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">McKinley- She is growing like a weed! You would never know that she was my little baby in the ICU all those months ago. She has the chubbiest cheeks which is rare around here. Brook and Andrew were so slender. Brooklyn still is! McKinley is sitting on her own, though she falls over every now and again, she's rolling, and smiling like crazy. She truly is the best baby. Only crying when she's hungry or sleepy. Barry might tell you other wise. She is a momma's girl through and through.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigYR5RFpt-6IHlcyYkQ_QbejJ0HmRIj780YWCtxTeS6x6qF5qvm4gmOT-QbddXmtmaqZDdHTiwkLkLsHZauSqDIkq_l2J-xsOphsS0MHLC7mb6my4aiGvaEzQFrJ8_ftaP9_bBZbV5_hw/s1600/IMG_1767.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigYR5RFpt-6IHlcyYkQ_QbejJ0HmRIj780YWCtxTeS6x6qF5qvm4gmOT-QbddXmtmaqZDdHTiwkLkLsHZauSqDIkq_l2J-xsOphsS0MHLC7mb6my4aiGvaEzQFrJ8_ftaP9_bBZbV5_hw/s200/IMG_1767.jpg" width="150" /></a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Brooklyn- Is going to pre-school in her day care and is learning her abc's and 123's. She is very smart and definitely has a little attitude of her own. She is her own person and has quite the personality. We love her more and more everyday!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXz5uQ42BoFlAcgeVYDPgzCOFYMfsvbIc9bN6AWypkdAqlsJJ7XuK0QZFOJkpqoclPJzrIDd1iDdA5c6zF_oVIkJ-oYD5cFgoIcQpzTI5bNFT3Oi0svETDybCHA9FOzHc8v9yRuTNy93g/s1600/IMG_1758.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXz5uQ42BoFlAcgeVYDPgzCOFYMfsvbIc9bN6AWypkdAqlsJJ7XuK0QZFOJkpqoclPJzrIDd1iDdA5c6zF_oVIkJ-oYD5cFgoIcQpzTI5bNFT3Oi0svETDybCHA9FOzHc8v9yRuTNy93g/s200/IMG_1758.jpg" width="150" /></a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Andrew- Kindergarten has been amazing. He is learning so much and becoming so smart. He has been getting all 3's and 4's on his report cards. Reading is something he enjoys along with writing and coloring. He's already talking about 1st grade next year!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiotO6t0MmfkyLRQ4dZ5w9zNkSAZjldkG9fpT4aWl7vW6CNrTMNWTD9qi4-tra3Y0X4Xfoj_gA3iTWDjlle11r2YRxCLBm0_bJDJGR71nWRcMjNR7twCPXdV-a_Hw6wz_C1YQRi23FuCvE/s1600/IMG_1745.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiotO6t0MmfkyLRQ4dZ5w9zNkSAZjldkG9fpT4aWl7vW6CNrTMNWTD9qi4-tra3Y0X4Xfoj_gA3iTWDjlle11r2YRxCLBm0_bJDJGR71nWRcMjNR7twCPXdV-a_Hw6wz_C1YQRi23FuCvE/s200/IMG_1745.jpg" width="150" /></a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Barry- Working as hard as ever! He's always busy whether it be at KSL, or for the Jazz. He surprised me this year with a 10 year anniversary gift to Hawaii. We had the time of our lives! It was so fun getting away. We went snorkeling with dolphins & sea turtles. Went to this place called the Kahula Ranch. Enjoyed the beach, the sun and surf, the Pearl Harbor Monument, and the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was an amazing time. Hopefully we can go back again someday.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Me- I have been busy with school as usual. Right now I am getting ready for drill team and dance company tryouts. I can't believe it's that time of year already. I just got back from an amazing trip with my drill team to New York. We took some great classes at Alvin Ailey, Broadway Center, and from Newsies cast member Aaron Albano. Did lots of shopping, little buying. But I did find me a few purses.</span><br />

I was lucky enough to be induced at 38 weeks due to a medical condition called the anti e antigen. Anyhow, we were supposed to go into the hospital at 7am on September 2nd. But due to a busy delivery floor, we were bumped until further notice. Finally at around 3pm, we were called to head to the hospital. They started the patocin as soon as we got there and we were in the beginning phases of getting the labor going.<br />
At around 5 pm, my mid wife Claudia broke my water. At that point I was dilated to a 2. Instantly as soon as my water broke, I started to dilate. I quickly started contractions and received an epidural at 6:10ish. An hour and five minutes later our beautiful baby was welcomed into the world weighing 6lbs6oz and measuring 18". <br />

Because of this anti e antigen I had, they decided to test her billirubin levels at 6 hours after birth. Normally, they wait 12 hours. After the test, they found that her levels were really high and they immediately put her in the level 2 nursery and under the billi lights. And there she remained for four days. It was aweful. But at the same time, we were thankful that they tested her so soon. Otherwise we would have been looking at transfer to Utah Valley Hospital and a blood transfusion. What the anti e antibody did was attack her red blood cells. Which was why they induced me due to how dangerous this could have turned out. After a very rough four days we finally brought her home where we were able to hold her and love and kiss her.<br />
<br />
She is so loved by her big brother and sister. They take such great care of her and adore her.<br />

We are so blessed to have her in our lives and love her more and more everyday! She is the perfect addition to our family.<br />
<br />
In other Squires family news, our baby Andrew started kindergarten this year! He has two wonderful teachers, Mrs, Payne & Mrs. Caldwell, and gets to go to all day kindergarten. He is already learning so much and it's fun to see him grow by leaps and bounds.<br />

Yes I cried when he got on the bus. But loved the fact that I was able to be there to watch this monumental day take place.<br />
<br />
Now for a little fun, I wanted to see what my kids all looked like at birth so here we go...<br />
<br />

It's called the Anti E Antigen. Anyhow, last week at my Dr. Appointment, they did a blood draw to check my levels. They have always come back to low to read until last Friday. The reading was a high enough number with high enough concern to send me to the Maternal Fetal Specialist at Utah Valley Regional in Provo. They did an ultra sound and they said things seemed to look fine but, because I am 36 weeks along and their chart stops at 35, the baby may be at risk for developing either anemia, jaundice, or both. What happens with the antigen is that it attacks the babies red blood cells causing the anemia. Which means at birth, if anemic, will have to undergo a blood transfusion. Hopefully this doesn't happen and everything goes as planned. But because of the risk, I have to have a stress test tomorrow and another next week and then they want to induce me at 38 weeks which is just following Labor Day. So our little girl will be here sooner rather than later and I will once again be able to touch my toes!<br />
<br />
On a side note, I taught my dance classes for the first time in months. Lets just say I am pretty useless and am grateful for my wonderful teaching assistants who can demonstrate all I cannot. I am also extremely lucky to be getting a fabulous sub while I am gone and am super excited about her coming to to fill in for me! <br />
<br />
For some sad news but really exciting news, Andrew starts kindergarten next week! I can't believe my baby is that old!! He is lucky enough to attend full day kindergarten under a new pilot program at the school. For the first half of the day, he will be in a small class with 16 kids and get a lot of one on one attention. Then stay for lunch. And finally, go to his regular class in the afternoon. I am excited about this new adventure for him.<br />
Back to school night will be on Monday and we are super excited to meet his teachers!!<br />
<br />
Last but not least, as we prepare for this new special spirit to enter our home, the time has been a little chaotic between school starting, choreographing all summer long, and trying to get Brooklyn's room up and ready to go. Her room is finally painted. Now I just need to get the bed in and the decorations up! I am super excited for her to make this transition.<br />
<br />
Well until next time!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-89550554701586710172012-07-19T16:03:00.000-07:002012-07-19T20:48:32.204-07:00My Moment to Vent... I don't care if anyone reads this. It's more just for me so I feel better.This pregnancy has definitely taken a toll on me! Not only physically but mentally. I think that I am really glad I was still teaching school during both of my first two pregnancies. It not only kept me going but kept me moving as well. Now every time I stand up I have to pee or feel someone poking or prodding at my innards. It's been quite a challenge and a helpful reminder to not become morbidly obese. I can handle a little over weight but this not bending over stuff really stinks. Not to mention I am out of breath due to lack of lung space. Only 6-8 more weeks to go. The reason I say 6-8 weeks, is because Andrew was two weeks early. And, Brooklyn was 10 days early. I really hope this trend continues. It would really make me feel a lot better. The person I feel the worst for is Barry, He sure does take a lot of crap from me. Did I mention I have been really ornery during this whole process? I didn't think so. Everything aches and hurts and it's Barry who becomes the punching bag. Hopefully one day he will forgive me and see past this horrible moment in my life.<br />
<br />
Next area I need to vent on is the lack of time I have to get everything ready. My plan was to keep my kids in daycare part time so that I could use those few precious hours to organzie clean and prepare. Instead I am spending all of my free time working on choreography for this musical I am working on. I really enjoy the musical and am having a lot of fun. But, it sure has taken up tons of my free time. I only have three more songs to go. Then, we move onto drill team choreography... It never ends :)<br />
<br />
Speaking of drill team, I have really enjoyed our three week break. It's been a good and a disappointing year. The only thing that's really been disappointing has been the lack of money we didn't make on our firework stand. It's been a bad year for fires so I totally understand. But going from making $4,000 to $1,600 makes for a sad season. This too shall pass right? It's only money. <br />
The good does come in on the wonderful dancers I get to surround myself with and the amazing assistant coaches I have that help make my job easier. We are a very young and talented team who has all the potential in the world right now! I have an amazing idea for next year that will hopefully make my life easier. Just in case I forget what it is, I will write it down here...<br />
Each officer and her parent will be in charge of running a fundrasier. It's brilliant right? I can't take credit for the idea though. That came from the Copper Hills Coaches who themselves are brilliant! It will give the girls and their parents more ownership in the team and how the finances are handled. If we don't make the money, then we can't buy the new costumes and more out of pocket expense are put upon them. Love it!! Besides, if this is something they don't want to do, then I'll just quite coaching. My family is too important to me to have my valuable time taken up by something I only get paid $1300 a year for. (That's right $1300 a YEAR. I'm pretty sure the equals out to be less than a penny an hour.) And now that I will have three kids, it will make things that much more challenging and difficult. Family First...<br />
<br />
The last thing I really need to do is fix up Brooklyn's room before the baby comes. I want her to get used to having her own room. Sadly, she still sleeps in the crib right now. We are just starting on cleaning out our office to make it Brooklyn's room. I am excited to get going on it. When it's done I will post pictures. I hope it turns out cute.<br />
<br />
Now something positive to end on...<br />
I am looking so forward to taking maternity leave. I am excited to walk Andrew to the bus stop in the afternoons for kindergarten. My baby is getting so big!! I'm excited to see what it feels like to be a stay at home mom and actually be home for my kids. One day, I hope that this will happen for me. Right now it's looking like Barry will get to be the lucky one to be a stay at home Dad. Curse me for making the bigger of our two incomes for now :( One day right?...<br />
<br />
The EndStaceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-31937219796320855802012-07-03T16:03:00.008-07:002012-07-03T16:33:31.149-07:00Summer Fun!!!It's been forever since I have posted so stand back here it all comes!!!!<br /><br />To start off we have been doing a ton of stuff this summer with our fun cousin Ruby and Aunt Brittany and our good friends Andria and her daughter Wrigley. Andrew is a lady's man running around with all of these girls. Non the less we have a great time.<br /><br />We started off the summer by heading to Thanksgiving Point Farm Country. We love that place because it's cheap and fun and a good 1/2 day activity to get some naps in. Our favorite parts were the pony rides and the wagon ride. We'll hit it again come August when they do their $2 Tuesdays!!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjzTlCfQH81OPtgjKEeWTDbMUXVfRacC3k4xkhuzacFWw8r63mIPEDzetHKNinPxS2XcfhFnR6QckTXdHJEHO4IBBKea4SszSM6QwwunyCC724QHLWGxHp8AKWXW3KnakVtjFN3fvoTzc/s1600/DSCN0819.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjzTlCfQH81OPtgjKEeWTDbMUXVfRacC3k4xkhuzacFWw8r63mIPEDzetHKNinPxS2XcfhFnR6QckTXdHJEHO4IBBKea4SszSM6QwwunyCC724QHLWGxHp8AKWXW3KnakVtjFN3fvoTzc/s320/DSCN0819.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761084094981072706" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkv6e0wX8mGph2KfogjA-cMwXjWzVo8D7iWUXu04bEElJZTTzFNuz0yp0p18yOjYrwv_Qt-bpKhT9w-DyzqTm9xGSWiTHJK22vLghHm_4BavQJk8ko5_MSNDVDHREkzsmGosYtiLnqP1U/s1600/DSCN0822.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkv6e0wX8mGph2KfogjA-cMwXjWzVo8D7iWUXu04bEElJZTTzFNuz0yp0p18yOjYrwv_Qt-bpKhT9w-DyzqTm9xGSWiTHJK22vLghHm_4BavQJk8ko5_MSNDVDHREkzsmGosYtiLnqP1U/s320/DSCN0822.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761084103798843250" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiywB220QVZv-qF5O66ZgvXN2ZixuSY7SHeVgDUaZ4d0mjH3ZT3tuOTUCAu1cQZYp_pB2ezPRky6SPdQtogFFdDrtoJnq1QnO49c-xEbI2M5B92N7jD9lGOcU4lkwIb9erUGiS5UH9gF6E/s1600/DSCN0824.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiywB220QVZv-qF5O66ZgvXN2ZixuSY7SHeVgDUaZ4d0mjH3ZT3tuOTUCAu1cQZYp_pB2ezPRky6SPdQtogFFdDrtoJnq1QnO49c-xEbI2M5B92N7jD9lGOcU4lkwIb9erUGiS5UH9gF6E/s320/DSCN0824.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761084086884794002" border="0" /></a>We also celebrated Birthday's this month for both Brooklyn and Andrew! My babies aren't babies anymore. Grandma <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Wachter</span> made Andrew the COOLEST blanket. He is in love with Captain America and the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Avengars</span>. So she crocheted a Captain America Shield blanket. Sorry the picture isn't great and doesn't do it justice. Andrew turned 5 and will start kindergarten this fall. And, Brooklyn turned 3 and will soon be starting <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">pre</span>-school. It's been so fun watching them grow up and become "big" kids. And Grandma always throws a great party for every family member.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfiy0qaJbQzCw9s5342O5zagyU4nMAGB91V1WdKVxvmnpXZvzjTn9AGi89AlTnAt706qU3PmVE4jWW3_hx1O1w0FdudTIonBjcoxKA9vUTNIPRFV9KMcPMjYi2SqNoUTZWnuTxRNReNnE/s1600/DSCN0832.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfiy0qaJbQzCw9s5342O5zagyU4nMAGB91V1WdKVxvmnpXZvzjTn9AGi89AlTnAt706qU3PmVE4jWW3_hx1O1w0FdudTIonBjcoxKA9vUTNIPRFV9KMcPMjYi2SqNoUTZWnuTxRNReNnE/s320/DSCN0832.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761085351604755106" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxrvnu-Btvv_kdJYsQpR-qGKdzeqZ3JybAzsvSHYy1byAikHKrLyTtI5_L-aiP2gI6GgZugsFVqts6s1HbNvVYiD8jfYT7n2XnQyua79HM1qwa2aVrZtlFgbBS-wz21Fy6mF_z1jBzdAY/s1600/DSCN0831.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxrvnu-Btvv_kdJYsQpR-qGKdzeqZ3JybAzsvSHYy1byAikHKrLyTtI5_L-aiP2gI6GgZugsFVqts6s1HbNvVYiD8jfYT7n2XnQyua79HM1qwa2aVrZtlFgbBS-wz21Fy6mF_z1jBzdAY/s320/DSCN0831.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761085341143485314" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVSNzjeQvmUMaOSj1ohxgwlQcoThRdypuKxpSbl-zlIEunk-l9DTPJJ7VQHwWNO-xTB1aT3y5UJ2wBfHKdoxBGuNiJumb_Nhu-CJm950HaIYxBeyFw6sXA1zFvu1brMbZt2xgH1mP1C6o/s1600/DSCN0851.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVSNzjeQvmUMaOSj1ohxgwlQcoThRdypuKxpSbl-zlIEunk-l9DTPJJ7VQHwWNO-xTB1aT3y5UJ2wBfHKdoxBGuNiJumb_Nhu-CJm950HaIYxBeyFw6sXA1zFvu1brMbZt2xgH1mP1C6o/s320/DSCN0851.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761085357321128722" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6zZWC2Uaiw6bbODdO_GbVyCCsASysBpqXHoLrCRrVhQN06auhD6yh9yziA2wtX39i14K3reQ_1oryT7LRLb087fkhFs5Ibes8_c_VxnYmlRl6SS911O6AYkOTS6q54sOan9QXzZme0HM/s1600/DSCN0846.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6zZWC2Uaiw6bbODdO_GbVyCCsASysBpqXHoLrCRrVhQN06auhD6yh9yziA2wtX39i14K3reQ_1oryT7LRLb087fkhFs5Ibes8_c_VxnYmlRl6SS911O6AYkOTS6q54sOan9QXzZme0HM/s320/DSCN0846.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761085864300595778" border="0" /></a><br />Then over Father's Day Weekend, we headed to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Moab</span> for the annual softball trip. I would have to say we were a huge hit! We made foam pictures and visors. Painted treasure boxes. Made binoculars out of toilet paper rolls. And, face painted. We are still working on our pedaling skills and building the strength in our legs to actually go somewhere.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Xrc4b9r78QIJVSQ5O7Jq3QI9yCZ3JeGRygnxyWCn0ksljYss5Y4qwxhgEhjyHsaui9rbdBKGd9dACLEH1-RUHi4ML8HKBGSbEa6Rfv-wYx5KfKFlemSMqVQRRiKScsxtlcjHsaUkAaQ/s1600/DSCN0887.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5Xrc4b9r78QIJVSQ5O7Jq3QI9yCZ3JeGRygnxyWCn0ksljYss5Y4qwxhgEhjyHsaui9rbdBKGd9dACLEH1-RUHi4ML8HKBGSbEa6Rfv-wYx5KfKFlemSMqVQRRiKScsxtlcjHsaUkAaQ/s320/DSCN0887.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761088608609579250" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_kCtdmNoORe5symo0lzxxFLtuW5LwXmL_9_CmEDdwblBaUEhLOadiMEvjw0RqAuTPI4io7p1M3cI8DvofitxZ-mwo_lPLksvQp_YbDke_6DbPwdsLDBZJ0JZ-MlGwX1mrAPXAimx0KRE/s1600/DSCN0884.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_kCtdmNoORe5symo0lzxxFLtuW5LwXmL_9_CmEDdwblBaUEhLOadiMEvjw0RqAuTPI4io7p1M3cI8DvofitxZ-mwo_lPLksvQp_YbDke_6DbPwdsLDBZJ0JZ-MlGwX1mrAPXAimx0KRE/s320/DSCN0884.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761088598701118194" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbk9FJ_Dz3OVUJ6lPDPJBpWbH202eu8A8aQCUTrL3Ddzn1bZ1J3nhPm0SV_jSHQNAGwp0B-LYS0d69FmgNxJ_IAVqWS0Pm3z-kqxcu1Q4YaAUAvKCqxmST-MsC0vMxN6pDrFIOqmAZMp4/s1600/DSCN0882.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbk9FJ_Dz3OVUJ6lPDPJBpWbH202eu8A8aQCUTrL3Ddzn1bZ1J3nhPm0SV_jSHQNAGwp0B-LYS0d69FmgNxJ_IAVqWS0Pm3z-kqxcu1Q4YaAUAvKCqxmST-MsC0vMxN6pDrFIOqmAZMp4/s320/DSCN0882.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761088591946242978" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSMOHQZldT7tS5hNM2AoCz75H2GmiLMzX6XUPIBq1IUlO0ZlN4lb1ll1t_YDjtdy8YnGqgOINN1SAa1buhqczs6mGXFRcbC9yVCLytXnDy8aHY9-F-b74H9E48bpFW7i8_hd1J-jcD4g4/s1600/DSCN0890.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSMOHQZldT7tS5hNM2AoCz75H2GmiLMzX6XUPIBq1IUlO0ZlN4lb1ll1t_YDjtdy8YnGqgOINN1SAa1buhqczs6mGXFRcbC9yVCLytXnDy8aHY9-F-b74H9E48bpFW7i8_hd1J-jcD4g4/s320/DSCN0890.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761088621779415778" border="0" /></a>To finish out the month of June, we celebrated at Strawberry Day's. The kids go to Aunt Cathy's to watch the parade, this year with Grandma and cousin Jake while I ride in the parade with the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Vikettes</span>. Here's to July!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-58805824849746171502012-06-11T12:47:00.004-07:002012-06-11T13:08:51.271-07:00Happy Summer Time!!It's been FOREVER since I wrote anything down. I apologize for my slacking. But looking through most of your blogs out there, you aren't doing much better.<br /><br />Anyhow school has now been out for exactly one week. How have I spent my time, cleaning my bathrooms, doing laundry, and being sick. Oh well there had to be something happen to slow my cleaning processes down. But seriously, with a baby on the way, the goals are to de-clutter the house and trash as much as possible. I will be able to get rid of my stuff fairly easily. It's Barry who I can't get to give stuff away. Although, this weekend he did a fantastic job at cleaning out his closet and got about 2 1/2 bags of clothes out of there. Anyway back to the goals, after the de-clutter, I am planning on putting Brooklyn in our current office and moving our office to the dark and dreary confines of the basement. Lucky for us we are having a girl so all I have to do with Brooks current room is move it.<br /><br />Last, a few weeks ago at day care the kids did some pictures. Here is a look at my darling babies who aren't such babies anymore.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL8k1ufNq5wD5aRmvMN_gZ1KzsWPY1NiTa-3AadYDpnPGhNKwhLrvp4VzG65N7r0x_6kjXnkTAQBsMWLV_0Z3ICR7bSLPApey2bp3qomXGAOOIG-O-WYxXE1YHoUsw9GUrNO4TXdoKS0s/s1600/DSC_6132.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL8k1ufNq5wD5aRmvMN_gZ1KzsWPY1NiTa-3AadYDpnPGhNKwhLrvp4VzG65N7r0x_6kjXnkTAQBsMWLV_0Z3ICR7bSLPApey2bp3qomXGAOOIG-O-WYxXE1YHoUsw9GUrNO4TXdoKS0s/s320/DSC_6132.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5752873563381424946" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh9buTg4gqP5N6zy2jsVTYFnTonawFxSd9iniaQ3WRcMqnGl7wJoQFC7Y7jg2APrnHsjIGrS3h0M3Xnf-KhGOuagK0lepyIWiNJpy31gm55sB5dnepgF-1PQSAEFjIPiTs4toBPsAudOs/s1600/DSC_6025.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh9buTg4gqP5N6zy2jsVTYFnTonawFxSd9iniaQ3WRcMqnGl7wJoQFC7Y7jg2APrnHsjIGrS3h0M3Xnf-KhGOuagK0lepyIWiNJpy31gm55sB5dnepgF-1PQSAEFjIPiTs4toBPsAudOs/s320/DSC_6025.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5752872433801253442" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ80dxwYO0jcNwyOLyPWJv0t1JA-HatpA30nNlrVg837x9W13YX5rhy2EUzEJFzpjag0Fnp8yKVt5MJ-5VYpz7Mo7xv7n_uLKhbtKoeO-rzM3OAFQwm7mC8gdNnAcz5ikkc64LnLrwuYY/s1600/DSC_6063.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ80dxwYO0jcNwyOLyPWJv0t1JA-HatpA30nNlrVg837x9W13YX5rhy2EUzEJFzpjag0Fnp8yKVt5MJ-5VYpz7Mo7xv7n_uLKhbtKoeO-rzM3OAFQwm7mC8gdNnAcz5ikkc64LnLrwuYY/s320/DSC_6063.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5752872445110664994" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkLJousIx9DOmsl-ogJByzoJ2XJHpLQBgtEuxXVAN8zaLF1XtPP_pk6H2Gc7x_7ujyvlEY6iYuMeHIBGux9cfFla4q_DZVnS0X_E_eH6P2Z5USgXwsZ2z5Z_naJ0Z8RnMwf5mCKnMoUmY/s1600/DSC_6109.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkLJousIx9DOmsl-ogJByzoJ2XJHpLQBgtEuxXVAN8zaLF1XtPP_pk6H2Gc7x_7ujyvlEY6iYuMeHIBGux9cfFla4q_DZVnS0X_E_eH6P2Z5USgXwsZ2z5Z_naJ0Z8RnMwf5mCKnMoUmY/s320/DSC_6109.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5752873554065604610" border="0" /></a>Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-180535737566564262012-04-16T20:59:00.000-07:002012-04-16T20:59:06.142-07:00My Spring Break Adventure, or Lack therof!Monday Day 1- This was the beginning of the Potty Training. I'll spare you the info on the accidents and details on the business.<br />
Tuesday Day 2- Again, more potty training! This girl was getting it good! She has been sooo much easier than Andrew ever was!!! I had heard that girls were easier than boys but, you never know until you try.<br />
Wednesday Day 3- More potty training!<br />
Thursday Day 4- More Potty training!!! But, I did get to sneak out and head out to the mall to buy some dance company costumes. Retail therapy whether its for me or someone else is always a nice break.<br />
Friday Day 5- More Potty training and Brooklyn made it through her sticker chart and got her fun new Rapunzel toys!! (Just a side note, it took Andrew weeks to get through his sticker chart and he was older.)<br />
Saturday Day 6- For me this was my most adventurous and fun day. It started out by a short trip to the Temple to do some Inititory work for some of my ancestors. My sister Wendy has been fabulous and doing the research and hard work to find out who our relatives are on the Wachter side of the family. Her hard work paid off and made it possible for 9 of us to do approximately 40 names!!! Afterwards, we had a little lunch at the great Mi Ranchito! YUMMY! For the record, my wonderful Niece Sierra watched the kids and no potty accidents!! Later that evening, Barry and I headed out on a date with my bro and sis in law, Craig and Brittney and some friends Ben and Andria. We went to dinner and then to the Crandall Printing Museum in Provo. We learned about the way printing started and how the Book of Mormon came to be put into to publication. It was actually very interesting. And, just to repeat, baby sitter number two Bailee another of my wonderful nieces, had no potty accidents with my Brooky!!<br />
<br />
That is basically spring break in a nutshell. Not to exciting but, I think as a mom I learned a lot more about Brooklyn and Andrew as my children and the different ways they work and click when together and apart. It was a great spring break and I wouldn't trade it for anything!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-73843216682818354982012-04-04T15:48:00.001-07:002012-04-04T15:49:06.989-07:00Disneyland!!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This past weekend, Barry and myself were able to go to the USA National Dance/Drill Competition with my drill team. We also as you can see got to take in a bit of Disneyland! We had a great time and it was nice to take a little break if ya know what I mean! The kids in the mean time were able to hang out at Grandma and Grandpa Wachter's house for the weekend.<br />
<br />
To update you on the teams outcome, we placed 1st in Lyrical, 3rd in Military, and 4th in Character. This competition was very interesting. What Utah standards are compared to California standards is completely different. For the first time in my life I didn't quite understand how the judging occurred. None the less, we still had some fun and had the opportunity to watch many talented teams who were full of amazing dancers. We had a great time.<br />
<br />
Then of course we took out plenty of time for play. I went on almost every ride except Tower of Terror and the California Screamin. Truth be told I think my favorite ride is Toy Story Midway Mania. I hate video games but love that one for some reason!!<br />
<br />
Any way, all is great in the Squires household. Baby three is still growing and we should find out what it is with in the next month!! I'll keep you posted.<br />
<br />
Until later...Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-6860513429612317342012-03-12T20:05:00.002-07:002012-03-12T20:11:02.037-07:00Exciting News To Share!!!Alrighty folks, it's been an awful long time since I have posted anything on here. Drill ended and so did I. I took a little time away, sleeping, relaxing, puking, and being tired all of the time. Strange combination right? Well that's because baby 3 is on it's way. September 16 is his or her projected due date! Now hoping that this kid follows in Brooklyn and Andrews footsteps we are looking more at September 2-6. Fingers crossed on that one. This will be the third and final addition to our family unless we for some reason decide to buy a fish. Once the cat is dead, no more, and I am definitely not ever getting a dog! So there is our fun news for the month. Maybe I'll be a little better and keep you updated a bit more often!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-81615893880584858172012-01-31T16:11:00.001-08:002012-01-31T16:31:31.500-08:00Too Busy to BlogSince Christmas, life has been very busy. Between family, school, and drill team wow, crazy!! We started going to a new day care at the beginning of the year due to some unforeseen circumstances and are now back where Andrew was when he was a baby. The kids seem to like it a lot and have adjusted well to the new place. They love going outside everyday and playing with all of the toys. We love the new day care and the kids learn so much everyday!<br /><br />Drill finished all of their invitationals and our region competition. I am happy to report we finally, after two years of disappointment, qualified for the state tournament. In the pictures below you will see the excitement from the team, coaches, parents and fans. Thanks to the Howe's for tagging me in the pictures!! We finished 3rd overall. 4th in Military, 2nd in dance, and 3rd in character. We are sooooo excited to compete this Friday at State and finally get the recognition we have deserved. Best of luck to my girls!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEymjUFY4cFdWxmcIDxM2C_Ou6ov5YOL2dL-JzPe_tMOUxbbOp-hoRZJfa9fIEwDqG6Poge9eE0nqGt5Kgv-SR4yL9ULvqf9-Dj1-jFkGiTAfvdOBY5i2DeUg5LdFCEYyjwE_bJYbF65U/s1600/made+it+to+state+2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEymjUFY4cFdWxmcIDxM2C_Ou6ov5YOL2dL-JzPe_tMOUxbbOp-hoRZJfa9fIEwDqG6Poge9eE0nqGt5Kgv-SR4yL9ULvqf9-Dj1-jFkGiTAfvdOBY5i2DeUg5LdFCEYyjwE_bJYbF65U/s320/made+it+to+state+2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5703955678085967538" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT4cubrGFR9OAXffFeaDbdYb8RncCLoEDFhlyO6dHkjyPiSaPG6QM1aMfirezzyL9ISS5E8CQJQU7rrIPHsl_kZevuLCUstL_7nOyao3W5wxFg2BJ5Laq9zGoBHl1XzOqc1y9R-0jUJig/s1600/made+it+to+state+3.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT4cubrGFR9OAXffFeaDbdYb8RncCLoEDFhlyO6dHkjyPiSaPG6QM1aMfirezzyL9ISS5E8CQJQU7rrIPHsl_kZevuLCUstL_7nOyao3W5wxFg2BJ5Laq9zGoBHl1XzOqc1y9R-0jUJig/s320/made+it+to+state+3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5703955691147669554" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8_11OIXR2jY7LZS_SX_2BzR5DH7uOqe7qJ6s8Rjfth6jnE38TkARIvpH4L46q3j6K5S_hq370KDCEHnCsnOhPQ8T_2UVi_QIHNxnkaSZIyP-qCBBoaNZ3UeE993xU0OKyYtDtaWVe1vU/s1600/made+it+to+state.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8_11OIXR2jY7LZS_SX_2BzR5DH7uOqe7qJ6s8Rjfth6jnE38TkARIvpH4L46q3j6K5S_hq370KDCEHnCsnOhPQ8T_2UVi_QIHNxnkaSZIyP-qCBBoaNZ3UeE993xU0OKyYtDtaWVe1vU/s320/made+it+to+state.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5703955667284493458" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Lastly, I have a student teacher this semester at school. It's been interesting to say the least. It's a guy student teacher in dance. Which there is nothing wrong with, it's just different. And, our personalities are so very different. We are both about the same age but at very different places in our lives. It's weird to think of someone my age just starting there career. I am sure he will be fine but hard for me to wrap my head around. I was just the type that wanted to get school done and over with so I could make my millions. Finished school, and am still waiting for the millions. I guess I better start entering the lottery! HAHA! Now hopefully my classes can survive. You know students teachers are doomed before they start. I know I was, I just had to find a way to make a connection with the kids. But, again I was 22 when I started so it was easy for me to build the connection.<br /><br />Random Thoughts I have been having. I have been thinking about age a lot lately. I am getting up there ya know. It's weird because lately I forget that I didn't just graduate college, that happened 13 years ago. I didn't just get married. That was 9 years ago. Time keeps going we all keep getting older but sometimes, I still think I am 25. Here is to wishful thinking and always thinking your young even though your body feels a bit older!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-16781928596897511722011-12-29T19:56:00.000-08:002011-12-29T20:24:45.777-08:00Christmas 2011<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQWI33R8o_l1u3rRzf995k61gqmBR8r2TX1ugneRg4leX_GRi7wGexXAu8YCMMJDdVr4w-EGqZrYnQh1w8fFCNPk9x_UH4d8LKIgQCr_Pqq0xbte_qYD31laoeXDX9ixXN2A7N_T4leJY/s1600/DSCN0649.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQWI33R8o_l1u3rRzf995k61gqmBR8r2TX1ugneRg4leX_GRi7wGexXAu8YCMMJDdVr4w-EGqZrYnQh1w8fFCNPk9x_UH4d8LKIgQCr_Pqq0xbte_qYD31laoeXDX9ixXN2A7N_T4leJY/s320/DSCN0649.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5691767502340649794" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAI8ahWjJwCSA8GNVkCQcNyTwCqFYN3Buz1RVhaNsKlL68_hkmXXD93wiHLLo2RHU3GvnVaZwVIiDyUNkjprFhqAnlrDS6JnXP4bzQY85_mWxELLckhQp-1uarHhpa_fOgGIaVxmuxWk4/s1600/DSCN0643.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAI8ahWjJwCSA8GNVkCQcNyTwCqFYN3Buz1RVhaNsKlL68_hkmXXD93wiHLLo2RHU3GvnVaZwVIiDyUNkjprFhqAnlrDS6JnXP4bzQY85_mWxELLckhQp-1uarHhpa_fOgGIaVxmuxWk4/s320/DSCN0643.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5691767500357090530" border="0" /></a>This years Christmas was a bit different than most and not as good as it should have been. On Christmas Eve we got a phone call the my Dad had been admitted to the hospital with chest pain. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with him and had to keep him over night so they could observe him and run more tests the next day which was of course Christmas. We were so hopeful that they would send him home on Christmas but no such luck. They had to keep him again for more observations and more testing. So we had a Christmas without my Dad. It was weird not having him there to give his annual Christmas speech and to carve the turkey. But all is well with him now. They never did figure out exactly what was wrong with him and where the chest pain was coming from. But he was given the all clear and went back to work on Tuesday. So grateful for the priesthood and the blessing that my brother and brother in law gave him to give him his health back!!<br /><br />Of course we didn't skip Christmas activities because at my Dad's request, he didn't want the little ones to be disappointed. We did have an awesome sacrament meeting that morning that was filled with beautiful Christmas music and messages from our Bishopric. It makes me wish we could have Christmas on a Sunday always!!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUfzjGsDAr6Qq6q1jOwSGCC6ewcp4RlJwuc3xNf8ozit8U7NTfpfDV9b61tpibdG8Qd44FVGba_F-w862hpNi137JAlaW9ZP13XWVQmACwu7p0iLSp8LVln4jV9_wb2UFFJkvVikX5s0I/s1600/DSCN0651.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUfzjGsDAr6Qq6q1jOwSGCC6ewcp4RlJwuc3xNf8ozit8U7NTfpfDV9b61tpibdG8Qd44FVGba_F-w862hpNi137JAlaW9ZP13XWVQmACwu7p0iLSp8LVln4jV9_wb2UFFJkvVikX5s0I/s320/DSCN0651.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5691767531689766162" border="0" /></a>This was the aftermath of the Christmas morning massacre. We went to Zoo lights and I wore Andrews hat half way through the zoo so Barry got me my own.<br /><br />We ended up having a great morning opening up our Santa presents the kids got just enough and not too much. Santa was a smart man at the Squires household ;) We also had a great time at dinner with all of our cousins and family members at our gift exchange party. My awesome niece Sierra got me a beautiful scarf and a Bella Swan replica engagement ring. I'll be honest I am not a die hard Twilight fan but man did I love her ring. And now, I have one to call my own. Thanks Sierra!<br />Barry got a gift card to Best Buy from Michelle. Andrew received some fun super hero cars that he absolutely loves. And lastly Brooklyn got a Cinderella barbie and a play tent. They have spent hours in that thing!<br /><br />After celebrating Christmas, some of us headed up to the hospital to visit my dad and put an end to the evening.<br /><br />Lastly we also got the opportunity to visit Barry's Mom and sister in Idaho. We took them out for a yummy dinner in Idaho Falls at the best Steak House ever, The Outback. We had a great visit with them and the puppy's and had a little vacation away from home :)<br /><br />The End!!<br /><br />Happy New Year!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-4664463072925441332011-12-24T11:51:00.001-08:002011-12-24T12:05:35.077-08:00Merry ChristmasJust wanted to take the time to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Remember why we celebrate the holiday. I am so grateful to have a knowledge and belief in my Savior Jesus Christ. I am thankful for his Earthly Mother Mary who brought him into this world all based upon her faith. It quite a miracle to see that such a wonderful man could do so much for all of us here on this Earth. I am grateful for the plan of salvation and am so happy to know that my family will be together for ETERNITY! I love my family dearly and wouldn't trade any of them for the world.<br /><br />I couldn't create a post without including some of the fun things we have been able to do this past week.<br /><br />1- We went to Zoo Lights. I didn't take any pictures because we were so bundled up and didn't want to get the kids out of the stroller. Best part of the evening was watching the Tigers wander back and forth right next to the fence. They are some of my favorite animals!<br />2- We went to Thanksgiving Point and drove through their fun lights. My favorite part is the Christmas Story at the end. We also enjoyed some yummy ice cream and saw some of Santa's reindeer at the Tower.<br />3- We were planning on going to Temple Square Tonight but Andrew woke up with a fever this morning at 5am :( Better to stay home and feel better for the big day tomorrow.!!<br /><br />Merry Christmas Everyone!!!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuHcvj-2Z5sGtPE1RyIDt7UbpuxDQo91MRcXxGdZioEernuNNeNaP7RGszT_NrgpefTHgxKig55iI8LrVtHRpXHwoNNl-hQpyXYxCCMuAYxttB6PbdPUYhWWL-9LoQKPDZ8cjboe5OGl4/s1600/DSCN0566.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuHcvj-2Z5sGtPE1RyIDt7UbpuxDQo91MRcXxGdZioEernuNNeNaP7RGszT_NrgpefTHgxKig55iI8LrVtHRpXHwoNNl-hQpyXYxCCMuAYxttB6PbdPUYhWWL-9LoQKPDZ8cjboe5OGl4/s320/DSCN0566.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5689787646699856690" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHev4tf-cL5I9Kb2zFCAFY8Jge4cftTB42MbI8sbECF3EowDzYChlgp0smeQ5EVvMfOJkEALI0UEl2_i4EnrrvAjTsvI40A82qe6HTJT-aUqqe6y4B-9aTp7K90R_TS4biLrAimn4_V7Q/s1600/DSCN0568.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHev4tf-cL5I9Kb2zFCAFY8Jge4cftTB42MbI8sbECF3EowDzYChlgp0smeQ5EVvMfOJkEALI0UEl2_i4EnrrvAjTsvI40A82qe6HTJT-aUqqe6y4B-9aTp7K90R_TS4biLrAimn4_V7Q/s320/DSCN0568.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5689787659096236866" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgguovQQZpqkNCfj2TcebG1FgHPLghwx5xBY_yBvkQuF3sqwGJY08F59GyiZ0RNbKYn1pxhsci5qxhCj5EYADhdpbwSRr6LS8PrO94h_EGlCTpXk1vtVHXs9BF-fqpKRa4G7MkAn3yHMcU/s1600/DSCN0582.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgguovQQZpqkNCfj2TcebG1FgHPLghwx5xBY_yBvkQuF3sqwGJY08F59GyiZ0RNbKYn1pxhsci5qxhCj5EYADhdpbwSRr6LS8PrO94h_EGlCTpXk1vtVHXs9BF-fqpKRa4G7MkAn3yHMcU/s320/DSCN0582.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5689787631133735346" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-fl8FErxJmTBKGYxhF85qZAUC44qI1MwD-Jk9g6LTotEDD6V5L2yKkSpPXP0Rj0x3D_wzCU_ZkduBGVh7DwZh9UYP4rA4-OAyK8mnpz2Fdvts2kHdfv2-k7UWWfOiH_qGpdWQCmvk_oA/s1600/DSCN0581.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-fl8FErxJmTBKGYxhF85qZAUC44qI1MwD-Jk9g6LTotEDD6V5L2yKkSpPXP0Rj0x3D_wzCU_ZkduBGVh7DwZh9UYP4rA4-OAyK8mnpz2Fdvts2kHdfv2-k7UWWfOiH_qGpdWQCmvk_oA/s320/DSCN0581.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5689787625213575746" border="0" /></a>Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-63653891330503721302011-12-08T11:55:00.000-08:002011-12-08T12:12:44.638-08:00It's Christmas Time!!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" style="font-style: italic;" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwiLyq3HmXbxUJwR6ZST-jk9V6DnoO1Kl7iXubzKI6KBkB30BX6ZoS6l02y-6oqsioZkO78DqGiePttBXzrzqouW-DGAc11t8sqhH2Iafbs3IsgRn3OQ74O5GNcKi_54yylyutSD475Ww/s1600/DSCN0559.JPG">I can't believe it's December! Even though it's only 8 days into it, I am counting down the days until Christmas break! 6 school days to be exact. Our district is lucky to take the week both before and after off. It will be a much needed and deserved opportunity to get some family time and reflect upon the true meaning of the season.<br /><br />As my kids are getting older, I am starting to also realize how important it is for them to be more aware of the Christ part and not the Santa part. I think since before Thanksgiving the "Santa Threats" have been going on. Why don't we have "Jesus Threats?" In the end he is who really counts!<br /><br />One Sunday, we were watching something on KSL and they were talking about how important there family traditions were on Christmas eve at centering that evening on Christ. So this is my goal this year. To spend the 24th all on Christ. We may even have a Bethlehem dinner like they suggested. I'll let you know how that goes.<br /><br />Here are a few pictures to show you how we have been preparing for the season! I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week already. I am super excited to eat some yummy turkey and my sister Cathy's delicious rolls. I am now the pie maker in the house which is sort of scary only due to the fact that I don't consider myself to be much of a cook. Nobody died last year so they must not have been to horrible.<br /><br />This past month we got to go see Disney on Ice. We started the first half of the show up on row 12 and spent the second half on the front row. Barry knew on the users and the Delta Center and he allowed us to move into some seats that were a little closer. It was super fun and cool to be that close. We loved every second of it.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDzoFJ8QIMAmHXVs5kfalC6XZYRPqMyy-yQhGs2kXnNiryU4ij7ZourhRpvhnVwq7m1agz5qdK3xPDpx0oaigZGWex11ONo1Q5i0g4300ARqXYKotXlCIb-NwYEDU0NgyuCpx-HmNSmGc/s1600/DSCN0545.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDzoFJ8QIMAmHXVs5kfalC6XZYRPqMyy-yQhGs2kXnNiryU4ij7ZourhRpvhnVwq7m1agz5qdK3xPDpx0oaigZGWex11ONo1Q5i0g4300ARqXYKotXlCIb-NwYEDU0NgyuCpx-HmNSmGc/s320/DSCN0545.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676955888805065858" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiktL0JQ-CDa-TQkmAliOWUapH1zymU8yYF-nI57ryT7fidlDF7DbJfHaH7J2QC79O8cQfI55YFOhjl73Y6heJTzm8yxzX3SI9jhP4Mzr_d3fYEI8snctpwNXHH0iVmVjSFQE1jZGsgFd8/s1600/DSCN0549.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiktL0JQ-CDa-TQkmAliOWUapH1zymU8yYF-nI57ryT7fidlDF7DbJfHaH7J2QC79O8cQfI55YFOhjl73Y6heJTzm8yxzX3SI9jhP4Mzr_d3fYEI8snctpwNXHH0iVmVjSFQE1jZGsgFd8/s320/DSCN0549.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676955886095697042" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm4Zu9TbHq8j52X-9p4K1tHJDfT-n2mG_F2H-YFX14IGYamAsWKQk_BggmPxRpwOcGkx-2sYyd4-QaRcxQw5TF0tPESgbVIJlNvQNXXCzZpto0QEMxRz-bTSvYkTbyqdSt-vBdXK80Aes/s1600/DSCN0547.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm4Zu9TbHq8j52X-9p4K1tHJDfT-n2mG_F2H-YFX14IGYamAsWKQk_BggmPxRpwOcGkx-2sYyd4-QaRcxQw5TF0tPESgbVIJlNvQNXXCzZpto0QEMxRz-bTSvYkTbyqdSt-vBdXK80Aes/s320/DSCN0547.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676955901926672738" border="0" /></a><br />Barry also spent last Saturday hanging our Christmas lights. He always does such a great job at it. He has to rent a lift because our roof is so stinking high and steep. The past two years we have won first place in the light decorating contest so here's hoping to year 3!!! Once we actually turn them on, I'll post more pictures after Thanksgiving.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhww5n3x0nicajnv1R46Lgp2KINhvAT-k4H-oCSlz2XoDc7rNvJqslp6dJtF2N_jOslIDDa-C1crrPqfKNi4U_LdGF6IKSH3j7srdPgaTPphYQofqG680YQvhDn5kaPpr1-PXseTlY2T-c/s1600/DSCN0552.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhww5n3x0nicajnv1R46Lgp2KINhvAT-k4H-oCSlz2XoDc7rNvJqslp6dJtF2N_jOslIDDa-C1crrPqfKNi4U_LdGF6IKSH3j7srdPgaTPphYQofqG680YQvhDn5kaPpr1-PXseTlY2T-c/s320/DSCN0552.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676956614637046626" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPNnTURTC4ihDHJNwPDo9B3S7Ns8xSvskAIlmW4UoEwshPob4afC7LxuzunrsOVbawvzucKjaWyg4XlSxz6P8rVhun18JDqEDSmc37Vry2dJaCspPerx0saP_mvjUHTiZSLJRU8FN197I/s1600/DSCN0553.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPNnTURTC4ihDHJNwPDo9B3S7Ns8xSvskAIlmW4UoEwshPob4afC7LxuzunrsOVbawvzucKjaWyg4XlSxz6P8rVhun18JDqEDSmc37Vry2dJaCspPerx0saP_mvjUHTiZSLJRU8FN197I/s320/DSCN0553.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5676956618620607490" border="0" /></a><br />Finally, most of this month has been dedicated to getting my team ready for competition. Our first competition is in two week from today. However, I feel like we are really in a good place for the start of the year. We still have lots of improvements to make but are ready for the challenge. My team looks great!<br />Yesterday, we were able to participate in the First Annual "Straight To The Heart" Hear Awareness Symposium. We danced in a flash mob. Tons of fun. Following the Flash Mob, we were able to watch the new Twilight movie Breaking Dawn. I found it to be a little humorous. I laughed through much of it but hey it's about a girl a vampire, a wolf, and a demon baby. What can you expect. I had a great time with all of my girls!!!<br /><br />Well that's all for now. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving Week!!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-33337158231412981152011-11-05T20:02:00.000-07:002011-11-05T20:34:58.989-07:00Halloween Fun!We had a lot of fun this Halloween Season. She leaves behind an amazing husband and three beautiful sons. <br /><br />Her passing and the passing of my cousin a week earlier, really makes me grateful for the plan of salvation. I am so grateful I know that I will get to be with my family and friends for eternity. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will see her and many other friends and family that have gone before me someday.<br /><br />Natalie was a fantastic room mate. I lived with her for three years at Utah State. We lived in the beloved fish bowl apartments on Darwin Avenue and then in a nice apartment just down the hill from the university. Natalie was so amazing and sweet. She was sort of the mom of the apartment. She always gave us great advice and you always knew that she would be a great mom and wife someday. She possessed the talents of always making you feel special and celebrating every holiday BIG! I remember the care packages her mom would send her during each and every holiday. The books she would read. And, the many hours she spent preparing her home work in her elementary ed major.<br /><br />Natalie will always be an influential person in my life. Seeing her die at such an early age really makes me want to live each day to its fullest, appreciate those that you have near you. And, never let a day go without telling your kids and spouse that you love them.<br /><br />Nat- you will be missed!! Love You!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-86142648887534235432011-10-12T20:17:00.000-07:002011-10-12T20:17:02.587-07:00Shakespeare Ensemble 2011 PG Dance<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/33UeVBIECrY?fs=1" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="344" width="459"></iframe>Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-57699710659659061612011-10-12T20:16:00.000-07:002011-10-12T20:16:35.683-07:00Shakespeare Ensemble 2011 PG Dance<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/33UeVBIECrY?fs=1" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="344" width="459"></iframe>Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-39425143519840892972011-10-12T20:09:00.000-07:002011-10-12T20:21:17.979-07:00Shakepeare FestivalI had the opportuninty to take my dance company to Cedar City with the drama department to compete in the Shakespeare competition. It was a blast! I was so proud of my girls and really felt like they competed amazingly well for our first time.<br /><br />Our first piece we call "Children of An Idle Brain." It was choreographed by my good friend Kasie Payne. It was based upon the story of Romeo and Juliet. The girls were fabulous and I couldn't be more proud.<br /><br />The second piece was a trio choreographed by some of my dancers "Greatness." They also did an amazing job and they are such beautiful dancers how could they go wrong?<br /><br />Overall it was a great experience we saw a lot of stuff and learned a lot about Mr. William Shakespeare. In fact, there is a movie coming out about Mr. Shakespeare that I am now planning on seeing.<br /><br />Check out my links above to watch these amazing dances!!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-77886489128074596162011-09-27T15:13:00.000-07:002011-09-27T15:18:54.574-07:00Happy Halloween!!!Happy Halloween you ask?? Yes I may be jumping the gun a bit but, I am so excited for Halloween!! I love all the fun cute spooky stuff and am excited to put out all of my decorations this next week. Last night we also started our Halloween costume shopping! I snagged up a Rapunzel Dress for Brooklyn and a Captain America Shield for Andrew. Still looking for the costume in his size that won't be over $20 bucks. (So Target, please get them back in stock)<br />I will post pictures once the final product is ready.<br /><br />I am also loving the change in the weather. The leaves are beginning to look red/orange. Can't wait for our drive through the Alpine Loop. This weather has been perfect the past few weeks. If it could stay this way forever, I would LOVE it!!!<br /><br />Finally, I am so excited for conference this weekend. I need a good pick me up and am excited to listen to the words of our Prophet and his counselors! Life is looking up!!!<br /><br />Happy Fall Everyone!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-71627865431608867852011-09-06T20:12:00.001-07:002011-09-06T20:27:37.302-07:00So Many Things Running Through My HeadFrom day to day I think I am always thinking why can't I be more like so and so. I have so many amazing people in my life that are so put together and amazing I can't help but notice them.<br /><br />First of all my sister Wendy...What an <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">inspiration</span> she is to me. I don't know how she does it all. But no matter what, she always seems to have it together. No matter how tough things are for her and her family she is amazing. I love her so much even though when we were little and would fight I would sucker punch her. I am such a brat.<br /><br />Then there's my sister in law Brittney. Full time job, mother of one, and wife of my brother. I can't ever remember a time when I have been to her house and seen one ounce of clutter. Mine on the other hand is nothing but clutter. I love the respect she gives to her home and how inviting she makes it feel. Her home invites the spirit in which is something I can strive harder to do also.<br /><br />Next is my Mom, Again I don't know how she has dealt with all of us! She is the most kind hearted person I know. And, she makes the best food ever. No matter how hard I try to replicate her meals (<span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Sunday</span> dinner & taco's) mine are never the same. That includes looks and taste. She has the magic touch to make anything the best. And of course there is the fact that she is MY Mom and the best Mom in the world.<br /><br />As I look at all these women I can't help but admire them and strive to be more like them. Of course this is only a small handful of my inspirations. There are many more of them out there.<br /><br />Then there's this other thing that started just today. My emotions are all over the place. I have no idea what's going on. Today in drill practice I just started to get angry and felt like yelling at my team. They didn't do anything to be yelled at. It was the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">weirdest</span> feeling ever. I actually had to say something <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">out loud</span> to get my anger in check. It was weird.<br /><br />Also, today at Target, I had to buy Andrew's new undies in the little boys section. My baby is growing up and that makes me cry. I'm crying right now just writing this. Man I have lost it :)<br /><br />Finally there is that constant feeling of being overwhelmed much of the time. I have finally come to the realization that something must go. I just have to decide what and by schools end something will be gone. I just don't know what. At least I have 9 months to figure it out. In a financially perfect world, I could work part time while Andrew went to school and spend half my day with Brooklyn. Maybe that will come true maybe it won't.<br /><br />All I know is that I can only be my best self everyday. Its up to me to be my best so I can give those around me the love they deserve.<br /><br /><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Ok</span>...The end of the thoughts running through my head. If you made it this far thanks for listening!!Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805530322733244915.post-27492551932898769612011-08-28T15:27:00.000-07:002011-08-28T16:01:29.963-07:00Another $2 DayI just love this whole $2 Tuesday bit and I know your all tired of hearing about it! But went last week and had $2 sundae's and .25 cent ice cream cones. Poor Brooklyn, she'd rather put the ice cream on her face than eat it. But she does love the cones. Silly girl.

<br />We also spent some time playing in there little water sprayer thingy. I really don't know what it's technical name is. So for now, water sprayer thingy works just fine.
<br />
<br />School is now in full swing.One week down and many more to go. For my first week back, things weren't too aweful bad. I did manage to get an awesome sunburn that hurts like he** but what are ya gonna do. You can see where I did manage to apply the sunscreen. It's going to be the best tan line ever, eventually. It's also managed to be the hottest week of the year. So going to the pool has been good. But sitting in my classroom was a little stuffy. Thank goodness the weather will be going down a tiny bit next week. Happy that fall is here. Sad that I don't get to spend as much time with my kids. Maybe one day I can afford to work part time and just love my babies at home. :)

Every Tuesday in August is $2 Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. For the last three weeks we have taken advantage of it! You all saw my last post and then two weeks ago we hit the Dinosaur museum. <br />This Past Tuesday, we went with Brittany and Cousin Ruby to The Children's Gardens. They spent some great times wandering through the gardens and the favorite part was playing in the Noah's Arc Fountain. Afterwards, we went for dinner and ice cream at the Deli. We had a great evening!

I am not sure where the time went exactly. I just know I am trying to find ways to fill in the remaining days.

<br />For the first Tuesday in August, we headed to Thanksgiving Point Farm Country. The kids had a great time and loved looking at the animals.

We had a crazy first week of practice learning two of our competition routines. They are both insane and amazing!! I can hardly wait to get them costumed and clean and ready for competition. We are going to have such a great year!
<br />
<br />Finally, I have this final week to cram in just a little more. Tomorrow the Dinosaur museum, Wednesday the park, and Thursday, who knows, only the future will tell!!

The main event was the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Smithen</span> Family Reunion held in beautiful Marina California. A fun beach city by the bay and near <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Monterey</span> California a fun tourist hot spot.<br /><br />Needless to say the drive there was the second worst part of the trip. But we did our best to get by. I made surprise bags for the kids full of treats and toys. The big hit of the trip were these magnet/map/snack trays I made for the kids. They were great fun and each included fun magnets to play with that provided some good entertainment throughout.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9uUtPLexocENaevYIVS_UUhEFlhpjP2uIqckVxrZsMzTuwHNYb6DzWJa1IbLRxUR-n2L_T8b-pEnWnKEZvjk1pb9tCrmfinGNTODfOmemCUd5N5jc9EyaBIToTlwaRGHWtaLMVca7b-A/s1600/DSCN0007.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9uUtPLexocENaevYIVS_UUhEFlhpjP2uIqckVxrZsMzTuwHNYb6DzWJa1IbLRxUR-n2L_T8b-pEnWnKEZvjk1pb9tCrmfinGNTODfOmemCUd5N5jc9EyaBIToTlwaRGHWtaLMVca7b-A/s320/DSCN0007.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632398074798547666" border="0" /></a><br />Stop one was Reno at the Circus Circus hotel. Not anything special just a stop. Then we continued onto Marina. The drive through California was beautiful. Marina is in the Northern area about 100 miles south of San Fransisco. We past a dozen or so fruit stands that now looking back, I wish we would have <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">stopped</span> at at least one. Oh well.<br /><br />First night we got reacquainted with everyone and played Minute to Win It!! It was great fun! The kids had a great time and so did the adults.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7VeHDAXhAZ9ItwD8jU2NX_E1Iw7IQD3TxOtqo6TI_yNTT0M3wKcvAdhzz4cHoMJXKt82iuV2ZRq1I6bP8Y54gjxqW6_umLzWegiokEs84ZAfiaIU6arHlgq2bn9Qj5a2fE89TMxgfW08/s1600/DSCN0021.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7VeHDAXhAZ9ItwD8jU2NX_E1Iw7IQD3TxOtqo6TI_yNTT0M3wKcvAdhzz4cHoMJXKt82iuV2ZRq1I6bP8Y54gjxqW6_umLzWegiokEs84ZAfiaIU6arHlgq2bn9Qj5a2fE89TMxgfW08/s320/DSCN0021.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632400587603237378" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr43ZdnbtTP3L-M9V-fpIjyQKmyyr5AaW3C_EgdWhmZs29jXz74trtnbSqAhPAF2flUbAL2BU9sH8j3ZHqt31rwyqZImIIC7lOcRciRUJ6V6MuB_XmOjirg76hXTHXe4d_Jl5AFE0p7YU/s1600/DSCN0018.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr43ZdnbtTP3L-M9V-fpIjyQKmyyr5AaW3C_EgdWhmZs29jXz74trtnbSqAhPAF2flUbAL2BU9sH8j3ZHqt31rwyqZImIIC7lOcRciRUJ6V6MuB_XmOjirg76hXTHXe4d_Jl5AFE0p7YU/s320/DSCN0018.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632400588185548194" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgwQTfjaQKyv6kYl9GlbRphi7BxtWNxcmi50jsIVwz9po809zkqHxjsD1U75VugNnSyuYjbZLRtzGke456_OlIpyLH-EYwYfuSWY_88s9cOLhRERDydvY8Bb8Xddgdul6XhKuZJBy_XCg/s1600/DSCN0024.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgwQTfjaQKyv6kYl9GlbRphi7BxtWNxcmi50jsIVwz9po809zkqHxjsD1U75VugNnSyuYjbZLRtzGke456_OlIpyLH-EYwYfuSWY_88s9cOLhRERDydvY8Bb8Xddgdul6XhKuZJBy_XCg/s320/DSCN0024.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632400592311729970" border="0" /></a><br />On Day two we visited the beautiful <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Monterey</span> Aquarium. What a fun time we had with the kids and we went on rides we hadn't really been on before that the kids absolutely loved. We stayed in a hotel close enough for us to go back and take naps during the heat of the day then went back and stayed late at night. We also got the chance to see both <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Fantasmic</span> and World of Color. Both were so amazing and I can't wait to see them again in March!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtR5SktthIFxTzZHLHHVYiuIHWJagIG94RZCeaXMFsswyvt3xup6_q5lr42C3FNRTe-15R9OHznb3n6EmSxtXIHLuFkKzQnhJQhIcHyugafnMMKqGwjBtrwC3fOSzVGEmbVRQas9i8fF0/s1600/DSCN0190.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtR5SktthIFxTzZHLHHVYiuIHWJagIG94RZCeaXMFsswyvt3xup6_q5lr42C3FNRTe-15R9OHznb3n6EmSxtXIHLuFkKzQnhJQhIcHyugafnMMKqGwjBtrwC3fOSzVGEmbVRQas9i8fF0/s320/DSCN0190.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632408797012719970" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb5E70mEmXBU-hiP4v0Re8id77Hqwnsbork8ZchOE7MeWAM7oPeeBWVRaYfYgVxlVsYenBndPFn8JAAy4N0Cluz2L__JyP2IHhyphenhyphenXG66CbCmSW5Abpzh5S3JoT-YPzXXZF2ED8xWfs40E4/s1600/DSCN0177.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb5E70mEmXBU-hiP4v0Re8id77Hqwnsbork8ZchOE7MeWAM7oPeeBWVRaYfYgVxlVsYenBndPFn8JAAy4N0Cluz2L__JyP2IHhyphenhyphenXG66CbCmSW5Abpzh5S3JoT-YPzXXZF2ED8xWfs40E4/s320/DSCN0177.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632408790456345298" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SlO3oePciDNDxxpmenc43H05Iga0I4dO5zDUheB0FxSSDW3_n9mq_bNbr8ox6LmTqVYKq5Z4h2XgqH7_ZdvEobUybcQ1LwxQEGRvD6qw3Xwo72uvjAUUetmv9Risv8tONflX66K0O54/s1600/DSCN0155.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2SlO3oePciDNDxxpmenc43H05Iga0I4dO5zDUheB0FxSSDW3_n9mq_bNbr8ox6LmTqVYKq5Z4h2XgqH7_ZdvEobUybcQ1LwxQEGRvD6qw3Xwo72uvjAUUetmv9Risv8tONflX66K0O54/s320/DSCN0155.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632408787990736642" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWXW3gwBh_aUFS8Tv-m0HaWFwA7QDwUpdLOwxAZH_4mlZXWkK7zEWSgp_fFiv4Gphl0jG29uMKqu-VihGk0Rgs8XvMZer1sj3TM1hD-3PuPkckzyrlssS22qeqRWc6pVAXJ0RNgrQiiAI/s1600/DSCN0193.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWXW3gwBh_aUFS8Tv-m0HaWFwA7QDwUpdLOwxAZH_4mlZXWkK7zEWSgp_fFiv4Gphl0jG29uMKqu-VihGk0Rgs8XvMZer1sj3TM1hD-3PuPkckzyrlssS22qeqRWc6pVAXJ0RNgrQiiAI/s320/DSCN0193.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632408801730273810" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBY1Q60AYVF_dYMpWWNH967UTY9SCBvic9z0rDjxSkRlDMx4NdW0vFk3qcikj8r42Shw03VDkvCBVx6KXJJUQHjxp_QQA1mCixiRnjXrq6sc5MmoQ2NnOWfAv3EuPLJ1KAw2C6KVEu0yI/s1600/DSCN0165.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBY1Q60AYVF_dYMpWWNH967UTY9SCBvic9z0rDjxSkRlDMx4NdW0vFk3qcikj8r42Shw03VDkvCBVx6KXJJUQHjxp_QQA1mCixiRnjXrq6sc5MmoQ2NnOWfAv3EuPLJ1KAw2C6KVEu0yI/s320/DSCN0165.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632408779844244962" border="0" /></a><br />Then the long journey home began. Lucky for us my dad has a condo in St. George that we stopped at and did our laundry (thanks dad!) It was really nice to come home with clean clothes. We had a fabulous time and I would do it all again in a heartbeat! Oh and the worst part of the trip, me having to sleep with Brooklyn to get her to sleep. She's a kicker :(Staceyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03340064237182138964noreply@blogger.com1
