Easter Weekend

This was a super fun Easter for us and our family. Andrew knows what Easter is and is all about when it comes to the commercial end of things. We are still working on the spiritual side and will get there eventually.

We kicked off the weekend with the first of 3, yes 3 hunts. One of Barry's stations (FM100) was sponsoring a hunt at "This Is The Place" state park. It was shear madness!!!!! Parents are CRAZY and way out of control. They had the place divided up into age groups. His of course was the largest. He was lucky enough to find two eggs. Don't worry there were several other children who came back with none or 20 if their parents did the hunting. We had a good time anyway and got to visit the Easter Bunny and I know he was just happy finding the two that he had.

The next egg hunt was of course on Easter Morning when Andrew found a trail of eggs to his Easter Basket! The Easter Bunny made it nice and easy on him. He was so excited each time he found an egg.

The Final Hunt was at Grandma Wachter's house. The Easter Bunny was a smart one there. He labeled 27 eggs for each grandchild that was visiting for Easter Sunday. It was fun to watch the older kids search for their eggs in some not so easy to find places. For those of you who might or might not recognize the crazy bunch below, it's Bailee, Tyler, Kayleigh, Jake, Tayler, Andrew, and Tiffany.

I have Officially Gone CRAZY

So last Friday, the vice principal at my school approached me about coaching drill team here at PG. I was completely shocked that the current coach was quitting. She is amazing and does a fantastic job with the girls. They have been a fantastic drill team during the past 3 years that I have been at PG. It was quite possibly one of the toughest decisions I have ever made. After four days of deep discussion with Barry and a much needed blessing, I accepted the job. I really have lost my mind. Here I am about to have a second child and I am jumping into this very demanding role as a coach while maintaining my teaching responsibilities and continuing with dance company too.
All I can say is Barry has to be the most supportive person in the entire world. He is now going to be taking on the responsibility of taking the kids to day care in the mornings. Check back with me in 365 days to see if I am still alive. I am way nervous but am up to the challenge.
Here goes nothing!!!!

I suck!

Sorry that I haven't posted in many weeks. It's because nothing has happened. Life isn't really all that interesting at the current moment.

Barry did have to go in and have a second procedure done on his shoulder again. We had to be at the Provo Hospital last Wednesday at 5:30 in the am YUCK!!!! They stuck his arm in a machine and moved it around to break up the scar tissue. He's now in physical therapy and improving tremendously!!

This past weekend we went to watch Barry's sister perform in a Belly Dance shindig. We are both proud of her for doing it and she did a great job! She balanced a sword on her head for 2 minutes. Pretty impressive.

Andrew is starting to form those fun little 2 and 3 word sentences. Some are still hard to understand but fun to listen to. I love watching him grow up.

My pregnancy is just that a pregnancy. I feel fatter than ever and can hardly wait until the next 13 weeks are done and over with. But on the good side I was able to put on some regular pants today that just happen to fit under my stomach great!! It made me feel pretty good.

Disney On Ice

Have I mentioned how cool of a job Barry has? He was able to get a tickets to Disney on Ice. Andrew LOVES Mickey Mouse so of course we had to take him. I think it is the first time he has actually sat and watched and enjoyed something of this nature!!! His attention span is all of about two minutes. It was a such a great family night and a great time. I was just thankful we didn't have to pay for tickets because you know how they have those spinney light up things, of course we can't say no to buying something so cool and ridiculously expensive for our little darling. Disney knows how to hit you coming and going. But totally worth it. I almost enjoyed watching Andrew's face more than I did the show.

Monkey See, Monkey Do!

Last night while were at my mom's house Andrew did the cutest thing. So here is the story.
Ever since Barry had his shoulder surgery, he's been putting ice packs on it to help make it feel better. Last night Andrew touched a hot pan and burnt his fingers, it was really quite traumatic for him. Grandma gave him an ice pack and made it all better. A few minutes after all the shock had worn off, he wanted a towel. Of course Grandma gave him a towel. He wrapped his little bag of ice up in it and then tried to stick it in his shirt buy his shoulder. We couldn't figure out what he was doing. He just kept pointing to the ice and then his shoulder saying owie, owie. Eventually I figured out he wanted the ice in his shirt just like daddy does. It was so funny. My only regret was I didn't have my camera to take a picture of it.

Baby Ruby

Here she is!!!!! Ruby Becky Wachter!
Weighing in at 9lbs. 1 oz and measuring 20 " in length!
After 39 weeks of being extremely uncomfortable, my sis-in-law gave birth via C section on February 12 at 7:28 in the morning. Ruby was breech so they had to do the C section. Guess it was a good thing because when they saw her she was spread eagle. She can already do the center splits. As a result of that wonderful position, her legs are still a little spread eagle but are starting to come down.
She is beautiful!!! I haven't seen a baby with this many rolls on her since my 19 year old niece Sierra was born.

Babies, Babies, Babies

What a crazy week for babies around the Wachter family household.
Yesterday we found out that we will be having a GIRL!!! We are super excited about it and can't wait to see her in only 20 more weeks. Which is really far away.

On Sunday, Wendy, my sister, finally made the announcement we had all been waiting for. She is pregnant with a little boy so the doctor thinks. She is due on Aug. 6th. Six weeks after our bundle of joy arrives.

My lovely sis-in-law Brittney (Craig's wife) is have their baby Ruby on Thursday. Stay tuned for pictures to follow this upcoming Friday!!!!
