Christmas Day

Christmas started out with a ton of snow. Barry shoveled our 8" of snow out of the driveway and even built himself a snowman that looked a little like darth vader. It's hard to tell that here but really it did.

We had a fabulous Christmas morning. Of all the toys Andrew recieved, the toy vaccum was and still is his favorite. Who would have known. Barry got me the toy of my dreams, a new IPod Touch. My mini has been on the fritz lately and dies everyday which makes teaching my dance classes pretty hard. All is good now. He also got me some beautiful art work that I need to figure out where to hang. He got a digital media player that will take all of his saved movies on the computer and play them on the TV. No more burning disks for Barry.
The rest of the day was spent at the Wachter household where all 28 of us gathered together for the annual dinner and present exchange. As usual the massive paper fight broke out and even Andrew got involved.
I saved the best picture for last! Cathy, my sis took the best picture of Andrew. It's one that will be shown to girlfriends and others for the rest of his life!!!
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and will have a safe and wonderful New Year!!!

Andrew's Big Announcement!!!!

Andrew has decided to announce to the world that he is excited to become a big brother!!! Yes I am pregnant. 12 weeks and 2 days to be exact. We broke the news to the family just this last Sunday. It was a pretty good shocker. No one quite expected it. The baby is due on June 30th and If the same thing happens that happened with Andrew, it will be 2 1/2 weeks prior to that day. But I am not counting on it. In February we will attempt to find out the sex of the baby and I will let you all know. So until then I will go about my business of gaging and puking. Happy day to you All!!!

Barry is Crazy!!!!!

For those of you who know Barry, you know he is pretty determined and rarely gives up on anything. Ever since we moved into our house, he's wanted to put Christmas light around it. I think that we have the highest house with the steepest ruf in the neighborhood. It was an impossible task. Not for Barry. This past weekend he traded third row Jazz tickets with the manager of diamond rental to get a cherry picker lift. He and my nephew spent all day Saturday up in this thing hanging lights on the house. It looks pretty great. I am only sorry I was at a drill competition all day on Saturday and never got the privelage to see this task mastered. Therefore I also have no pictures of the blessed Christmas tradition. If you will all picture in your minds you will be able to giggle along with me.

Crazy Month

Sorry I haven't updated my blog in like a good six weeks. It's been a crazy November. This month my dance company had their dance concert. There's a lot of stress going into making sure everything works and so because of it I let everything else slip.

Thanksgiving was delicious!!! My mom makes the best Turkey!!! However, the stomach flu was surfing around day care and yep, Andrew got a diarehhea version. It lasted for seven days!! It was horrible. Fianaly as of yesterday, all is good.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are enjoying all of the shopping maddness in order to get ready for Christmas!!
