Happy Easter

Here are a few pictures from the Easter weekend. The Easter Bunny had no trouble locating our house and neither did mother nature. We had a great day listening to conference and spending time with the family.

What's been going on???

So I haven't updated for a very long time. Sorry about that. I am a slacker. Here's what's been going on in no particular order.

Last weekend I went to Anaheim to the drill nationals. I left my babies at home alone for the first time ever. It was hard and I missed them a ton. I still had a ton of fun at Disneyland. I rode the Tower of Terror for the first time ever and LOVED it!! It was a ton of fun. We also did great in the competition. We received 1st in hip-hop (yes white Mormon girls can dance), 2nd in kick and military, and 6 out of 18 for our dance routine. I was super proud of the girls we were rocking it. If you want to catch a video of this performance go to varsity.com and click on the beautiful picture of the girls in black(also my team) and scroll all the way down to the bottom until you find Pleasant Grove and take a look. They did awesome.

Other than that it's business as usual. School, work, FAMILY, and when we find time playing.

I will try and get some pictures up for Easter next week.

Ahhhh!!!!

Well drill season if finally over. We survived it!! We didn't qualify for state but when you are in the states toughest region it's really anybodies game. Just to demonstrate the intensity of our region, 3 of the 4 teams that represented our region finished in the top 5.

Brooklyn is growing bigger everyday. Can someone please tell me what happened to the last 7 months? She's finally mastered the rolling over but hates being on her stomach. She's perfectly content with scooting around on her back. She's actually pretty mobile.

Andrew is turning into the terrible two and loves to throw temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Let's just put it this way, he just loves sitting in his time out spot more than any other place in the house.

Overall we are doing great!! We couldn't be more thankful for all of our blessings!

Last but not least, Brooklyn got this great gift from my sister in-law Wanda. It's a cart table playhouse. This is their version of the pet shop. If you are interested in one, my sister Wendy is selling them. Go to her blog and then look at moms on the go (MOG) and she has the info there. Or, if you would rather make your own, they will be selling the patterns at youcanmakethis.com by the end of March. Andrew loves playing with it and Brooklyn soon will too!!

What a Merry Christmas

This year Christmas was great! We had a great morning with the kids and a delicious dinner at my mom and dad's house. Every year my mom usually will make us something for our Christmas present one year it was flannel blankets, another bags, and last year it was pillows. This year she really out did herself and made all of us SNUGGIES!! That's right Snuggies. We had a great time re-inacting the commercial. She the pictures below!!!

It's December WHAT!!!

Is it really already the middle of December? What happened to November?
It's a been a long time since I have updated this darn blog. Mostly it's because I am too busy and secondly, I never have my camera near to upload pictures. Heaven forbid if I walk down stairs to get it.

Over Thanksgiving break (yes I said Thanksgiving), Andrew and I decorated the Christmas tree. We had a great time doing it. Every time he walks into the room he insists on plugging it in. Here are a few pictures of the trimming of the tree!!
Andrew has the same look on his face as the guy on tv. haha!!

That dumb cat always has to get under the tree. It becomes her new sleeping spot every year. Not to mention a chew toy.

And finally, how many ornaments can you see in this picture???

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

So its been awhile but all on the home front is looking good. Brooklyn is now 5 months old! Where does the time go? Drill Season is rapidly approaching and getting closer by the minute! I gave the girls their costumes yesterday and they were super excited. Lets hope that this will motivate them into kicking it into gear.

Last but not least, I hope you all have an amazing turkey day!

Halloween Fun

It's been a busy week and weekend! Last Saturday all the girls in the fam went to Gardner Village to have "Breakfast with a Witch." The food was yummy and the witches were awesome. If you have never been to Gardner Village at Halloween, you must put it on your list of places to visit. We had a great time. We even all dressed up!!!
Then yesterday, we took Brooklyn and Andrew to have their Halloween pictures taken. Brittney's sister did them and did a great job. If you need a photographer visit her site at pinkfigphotography.com It took us a long time to convince Andrew to put on his costume. Once he did, he didn't want to take it off.
